Geographical location: located on the Squamish River about 5km north from High Falls Creek.

Ch’éḵch’eḵts can translate to "dirty mouth." By late 1870’s our people abandoned the village and moved down to False Creek. It was a good location to catch coho salmon. We also smoked and dried meat (salmon, deer and goat). It was a hunting area.
