Geographical location: little Defence Islands. The outer Defense Island located in the Howe Sound Inlet

níni7ch Ḵw’émḵw’em can translate to outer Defence Island. They are the 2 smaller of the Defence Islands. We used it for fishing and a burial. It was a lookout for any incoming raiders. There was a fresh spring water source. We could spring salmon troll, fish all year round and hunt seals off shore. We used this village a lot.
