Schen̓ḵ can translate to "leaning on or steadying something from behind." Schen̓ḵ and Ch’ḵwelhp are close to each other. Schen̓ḵ refers to a large rock that is said to be a man who was standing there leaning against something, who is keeping watch. We used to hunt and fish here.
