21 Skáwshen

Geographical location is about "18 mile" Squamish river marker area.

Skáwshen can translate to "foot descending." It is located on the East bank of the Squamish River, north of the mouth of Ashlu Creek. In late 1870’s it was the uppermost inhabited village. It was an important area to get cedar logs for canoes. It was a good location to fish.
